I joined Willmore Iles Architects in July 2024 after completing my undergraduate course in Architecture at UWE Bristol. I am grateful to be working in such a pleasant environment and be part of such a supportive and friendly team.
Before my undergraduate course at the University of the West of England (UWE), I attended an art college where I had the chance to try different subjects including architecture. I was introduced to graphic design, fashion design, sculpture, music, painting, and architecture. It was a valuable experience for me, it allowed me to explore and get to know myself and what I like.
In 2019 I started my BSc Architecture course with Foundation year at UWE. Through my university course, I was a member of the Built Environment Society at (UWE), where I had the chance to participate in designing a Passivhaus workshop space for students. I assisted with the initial early design stages, and I was tasked with finding the best wall material choices considering sustainability, as well as embodied and operational carbon. Additionally, I attended additional lectures at my university about building performances and I completed a Zero Carbon Aware course.
In my final years of university, I developed a passion for the integration of nature into buildings and human well-being as applied to architectural design. I love learning about people and the qualities of different individuals’ needs. I am overly excited when I get the chance to research and create a tailored design for the users and the implementation of design tools such as Biophilia and Biomimicry.
I always enjoy good quality food with friends and family. I enjoy being in nature, hiking and exploring. On the rainy days, I spend time painting or playing video games. My way of relaxation is to listen to classical music on my headphones or having a good exercise session at the gym.
