Location South Somerset
Status Ongoing

In this project we renovated an early 19th century Grade II listed stone farmhouse , converted a two-storey stone barn to residential use and a single-storey stone piggery to an estate office to support the new equestrian use of the wider farmstead as a Mare Station.

North Bradon Farm Willmore Iles Architects

We retained the existing character of this South Somerset farm by introducing new elements to create clearly defined modern spaces, while respecting the historic fabric of the buildings. A new annex to the farmhouse fills the gap left by a derelict structure and sits at the boundary between the private home and the newly converted dwellings.

The scheme is phased to be completed over three years. And the new owner is overseeing all works to ensure the historic fabric is preserved and protected for future generations.
