It’s been a busy year at WIA, and the team got to celebrate their achievements this week during the annual summer social event! It was a day packed full of fun activities, laughs and good food!

The day began at Propyard, to experience the incredible Van Gogh Immersive Experience. Stepping inside the wonderful works of art brought a smile to the faces of everyone in what was truly an unforgettable and unique experience.

Afterwards the team headed to The Wave, an inland surfing destination. For most team members it was their first time riding waves, and by the end of the session many had gotten the hang of it. Nicky was particularly impressive, as they took to surfing like a duck to water! Although it was physically demanding, surfing was a perfect way to cool down after the heatwave at the beginning of the week.

Finally, the team went to Bocabar at Finzels Reach for a well-deserved, delicious meal. The pizzas were exceptional, and the cocktails were refreshing. After a few drinks and laughs, the fantastic day had to come to an end. We want to thank every member of staff for coming out for the day and making it such a special day and for all the hard work.
