Working alongside our longstanding client, Habitat First Group (HFG), WIA have designed and gained planning permission for an innovative Silverlake Lido and restaurant design at Silverlake. The elegant design enhances the natural environment and provides a unique spa retreat for homeowners, guests and the local community to experience at Silverlake.
One of the most distinguishing features of this project is its seamless integration with the natural surroundings. The Silverlake Lido and Firefly Restaurant have been designed in harmony with the scenic beauty of Dorset’s coastline. Large glass panels and open spaces ensure visitors are constantly connected to the stunning views, creating an immersive experience that effortlessly blends indoor and outdoor environments.
Sustainability was a cornerstone of the design process. To minimise its environmental footprint, the project incorporates eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient systems, such as solar panels and heat pumps. Orientation, comfort and overheating are fully considered and incorporated into the designs. This commitment to sustainability ensures that the Silverlake Lido and Firefly Restaurant contribute positively to the environment and the local community.
Every element of the Silverlake Lido and Firefly Restaurant have been designed to enhance the user experience. From the thoughtfully designed seating areas that offer panoramic views, to the strategically placed lighting that creates a warm and inviting ambiance, every detail has been considered. The design team has created an environment that caters to both relaxation and social interaction.
Promoting sustainable tourism, our designs for the Silverlake Lido and Firefly Restaurant will become a community asset. By prioritising the client’s vision and local need throughout the design process, WIA have ensured that the designs exceed expectations. When complete, Silverlake will boast another landmark venue that attracts visitors, and stands out as a beacon of modern design and sustainability.
