WIA converted a former pumping station into a three-bedroom house in West Wales close to the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park.
The original building was of no architectural merit, but had to be retained as part of the planning restrictions. We ‘skinned’ the building. ‘’both inside and out, to meet current standards.
We used elements of the West Wales vernacular to fit its location close to the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park..
The interior has a mezzanine floor and gallery to maximise the benefit of the top lighting.
