The scheme creates high quality boutique flats, for returning students within the original building. The best parts of the 1950s building were complimented by a modern, domestic scale single storey extension.

Two varieties of cherry blossom trees – spring and autumn flowering – were re-introduced to add seasonal colour to the street scene twice a year.
